She’s Lived What Families Are Facing.
For Lillian, public policy isn’t abstract. It shapes the lives of the people.
Lillian raised a child with disabilities as a single mother. She now cares for her elderly mother while helping raise the next generation as a proud grandmother of five — soon to be six.
For more than 20 years, she worked in financial services helping families plan for stability. As an AmeriCorps VISTA member with Utah Refugee Services and a longtime community advocate, she’s spent decades showing up for women, children, and working families.
She is a first-generation, non-traditional graduate of the University of Utah, earning degrees in Political Science and Sociology, Cum Laude.
